“Excellent hotel only complaint and it’s a little thing just no granola or yogurt on the Sunday at breakfast but Saturday was spot on and Sunday still had almost everything. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends ”

“The public areas are lovely. The pool area is dirty looking and very shabby, I’d take flip flops. Rooms are dated and could do with a deep clean. In desperate need of a refurbishment and deep clean. Breakfast was warm and not very appetising.”

“I had to booked to stay overnight. When I arrived. I checked in approx 2045. Went to room. Seemed to be dirty room, as edges of carpet not hoovered. mattress exposed appeared tired. Hallway on 2nd floor smelled of weed and urine. The door just next to mines had been kicked off the hinges. Was wide open with damage. I raised issue with Khizai, I checked out and didn't stay as didn't feel safe. As seems to be shady individuals dealing drugs at the premises. I have messaged for resolution but no...

“Property clean and convenient to Seaham. Two short flights of stairs to rooms with 3 sets of doors to go through. No lift and no help to get luggage to room. Registration at bar and staff was busy with patrons so check in and out took time. Parking on site. Security good. ”

“Toilet wouldnt flush, stains of damp all on roof. Sink blocked. Overpowering smell of sewerage in the corridor. ”

“Think 1960s guest house at the seaside. Cosmetically pleasing. Bed soft and clean but tidy looking behind the initial glance. Worn out, damp/smoke residue where it has soaked in walls over the years. Lots of chips in furniture. Plasterboard smashed in annex and falling off wall Two in a room one packet of biscuits. When we went to switch TV on layers of dust behind it. Grout coming away and missing in shower. Towels thin and harsh. Wish we had chosen a premier inn for night same cost better...

“Staff were friendly and helpful, room was spacious and bathroom was clean - nice to have a bath and a shower. Lovely kingsize bed (and very comfy!) No fridge in the room though which was a shame when staying for more than a night or two. Appreciated the free WiFi and decent TV. The downside was the lack of information about room cleaning times over the Christmas period. We stayed for 5 nights/6 days and only got our room cleaned (and bins emptied) twice as we kept “missing” the cleaning window,...
