“Excellent attentive staff in every area of hotel. I stay there regularly when visiting friends and family and my only two beefs are that the elevators seem very slow and the rooms themselves do not have enough lighting. The beds are super comfortable and rooms are very clean. The bathrooms are huge but would be nice to have face cloths again but I am noticing a trend internationally regarding this! Great for parking and public transport is very handy if needed. I will be staying there again.”

“This hotel is in desperate need for refurbishment. The fixtures and furniture is dated and the building itself is so old that you. It think it’s a hotel. The room I got given had a non functional AC. The telephone connection in the room was non functional too. There was no water bottle in the room. You have to buy it!!! The hotel staff had left the room windows, I suppose because the AC wasn’t working. I would not recommend this to anyone.”

“The hotel has a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine but some of the surfaces were quite dusty. There could have been more hangers in the wardrobe. Just small things and would definitely return.”

“The room was clean enough ,the view from the room was great as it was at the front ,I would not have been happy if I had a room at the rear . The hotel looks like it has recently been refurbished (badly) the workmanship is dire !and done cheaply The food in the bar in the evening was a disappointment and not to our taste we had hoped for fresh fish and chips but sadly it resembled frozen fish and if the chips are to be triple cooked then try and get them crispy not soft dark brown bits of...

“First time I stayed in the seaburn inn as I stay in Sunderland a lot but from now on that’s the only place I’ll stay Staff- very helpful. Even late at night, remote broken for TV and went out their way to get me a new one. Just all round brilliant”

“Mucha limpieza en la habitación. El desayuno bueno. Muy atentas las personas de recepción y servicio. La habitación muy pequeña. Se escuchan muchos ruidos de otras habitaciones . El hotel está retirado de Durham y de Newcastle, sin embargo es una opción de mejor precio con respecto a los hoteles de Durham.”

“Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter. Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel.”

“Lovely room, great size, wonderful view, excellent shower! Very comfortable bed and good off road parking! Would definitely return!!”

“Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists.”
